Privacy isn't a policy for us — it's how the product is built. Here's exactly what that means.

LÙ is built entirely in your browser. When you record a video, it stays on your device — it is never uploaded to our servers, never stored in the cloud, and never accessible to us or anyone else.

This is a deliberate design choice. The stories you record are among the most personal things you'll ever create. They shouldn't live on someone else's servers.

⚠️ One important thing to know: because we don't store your recordings, we also cannot recover them. If you close the app without saving, or clear your browser data, your recordings will be gone permanently. Please save your recordings before ending your session.

LÙ doesn't require an account. We don't ask for your name, your email address, or any identifying information. You open the app and start — nothing more.

The questions and themes you select during a session are used only to generate your interview questions in real time. They are not saved, not linked to you, and not used for any other purpose.

LÙ uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate your interview questions. When you select themes and answer the opening question, that information is sent to Anthropic's API to produce your personalised question set.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the LÙ website. This collects anonymous data — pages visited, general location, device type, and how long people spend on the site. No personal information is collected, and nothing is linked to individual visitors.

We do not use analytics on the app itself — only on the marketing website.

Payments for premium features are processed by Stripe. LÙ never sees or stores your payment details — your card number, billing address, and financial information go directly to Stripe and are governed by their privacy policy.
